GIFT AID

Once again I appeal to members to consider joining the Gift Aid Scheme. Less than a quarter of members currently contribute to this scheme and we would welcome and encourage more members to come on board to help swell the coffers. All you need to do is complete a form (once!) provided you or your partner pays tax. Over the last couple of years the Society has received around £350 each year from reclaimed tax. If this were to double (or even treble) this money would go some way to funding one of the many schemes the Society has planned for this year, i.e.: new furniture for the Arboretum and help towards the preparation of a Conservation Plan for the Castle.
